[Hi, I'm Kelsey.]
[I am a wedding, family and portrait photographer based in [City]. I have been photographing people for [number] years, and I still get nervous the night before every wedding, in the good way.]
[My approach is simple: I watch more than I direct. I will help you relax and find good light, then get out of the way so the real thing can happen.]
[When I am not photographing, I am [hobby], [hobby] or walking [dog name] along [local place].]
[I want you to look at these photographs in thirty years and remember how it felt, not how it looked.]
How I got here
[It started with a borrowed camera.]
[A short story about how Kelsey started photographing: a borrowed film camera, a grandmother's kitchen, the first roll of film.]
[Then came the weddings.]
[A friend asked her to photograph their wedding. Something about the day, the nerves, the speeches, the dancing, made sense to her.]
[Now, mostly, I listen.]
[How she works today: slow, observant, a little bit invisible. The photographs come from paying attention.]
[Calm, kind and completely unflappable when the rain came in. The rain photos are our favourites.]
- [Favourite light]
- [The last hour before sunset, or a north-facing window on a grey morning.]
- [Where I shoot]
- [Mostly around [City] and [Region], and anywhere you would like to take me.]
- [What I bring]
- [Two cameras, a lot of patience, and snacks for anyone under six.]
[I work with a small number of couples, families and businesses each year so that every one of them gets my full attention.]
[Our kids are not easy to photograph. Kelsey just let them be kids, and somehow these are the most us pictures we own.]
[If any of this sounds like you, I would love to hear from you.]
